So, we are up to Part 7 of 7 of Your Home Business Success Strategies…

… Your Order Page.

This is the component in your Funnel where Payment Information is collected,
when someone decides to purchase your products or services.

Now some would consider their Order Page, The Final Step, although I beg
to differ.

If you’ve been following along with this series, then you know that we have
covered Domain Names, Landing Pages, Autoresponders, Blogs, Thank You
Pages, and now, your Order Page, which is the last piece to the Online Sales
Funnel  – but is it really? 

You see, while most people think that making a sale is the be all / end all –
to me and my Team, and all of my Members and Clients – just as when it
comes to success – the Top is just the start of a higher climb – making a sale,
or closing someone (whether it’s online or off) – getting someone to buy your
product or service should really just be the beginning of a fresh new relationship
that flourishes each and every day that he or she owns your product. 

So never get so excited to make a sale, that you forget to deliver after the
transaction. 

And I don’t mean, “don’t deliver the product” – I mean…

… “don’t forget to deliver your “service”.

Because people will forget what they bought a lot of times, but they will never
forget how they felt about the transaction.

So follow up, follow through, and excellent customer service is a must.

I can’t tell  you how many great product companies do not have great customer
service. I don’t do business with them after I find out how poor their service
is, even if I like their product.

This is a big problem I see in the Industry. Lots of broken promises, and not
enough delivery.  We can talk more about this in future messages.

So, back to your Order Page…

When it comes to setting up your Product Order Page, you might want to use
Companies like 1ShoppingCart or EZCheckOut or you can have a custom order
page built for you by a private or independent programmer, to fit your needs.

You might even ask a private programmer to help you set up your Order Pages,
because they are somewhat of a chore to do on your own.

The good thing is this… 

If you want to work smart, and you have been following along with Parts 1-6 of
this Home Business Success Strategies Series…

… by now you probably realize that you can simply leverage someone else’s work,
and use their Order Page that comes with their System.

That’s what thousands of us do, and boy, does it cut down on time and energy.

There’s nothing better than selling stuff online, and letting a Company do all the
heavy lifting for you.

That’s actually Phase 1 of The 3 Phases of Marketing Success – again, another
conversation
for another day!  (Boy, do we have lots to talk about 🙂

Now check this out…

Imagine that right after your customer places an online order, while they are very
excited about their new purchase and receiving the benefits of what you now must
deliver…

… they were offered another product, related to the first one they purchased from
you.

And imagine, if out of every 10 sales you made, imagine even if 2 or 4 or 4 of those
customers purchased the second product you offered.

Imagine how much more profitable getting that one person in your Marketing Funnel
would be – making 2 sales, for the cost of acquiring just that one customer.

This is another part of your Order Page – which has now become more like an Ordering
“Process”.

You see, a good Marketing System will offer your new customer another product or
service, directly related to the initial product they’ve just purchased, making it simple
for them to add another product to their buying experience, with another click of their
mouse.

Of course, this product should complement what they’ve just purchased, and help them
get even more benefit by doing more business with you.

Some of the best Order Pages I’ve seen, might include things like a Slightly Higher
Upsell, a One Time Offer, a High Ticket Offer, and a Continuity Offer, or Membership.

For the Marketer (meaning you), this presents multiple ways to earn income by selling
products that are different, but all related to each other, to one customer, and maximize
your profits, versus only selling one product and ending the transaction.

And this is the anatomy of a highly profitable marketing funnel. 

To see how one works, from start to finish, find a Leader that you know, like, and trust,
and either ask them for a link to their funnel, or find their funnel online.

As I’ve always said, “The best buyers, have potential to become the best sellers”.

Me personally, I buy a LOT of stuff from really great funnels.

Why?

Because I know that the more I buy, study, and implement, the more successful I will
become.

I think all my buying has served me well 🙂

Funny though, I’m not done yet.

I buy all the time.

And as a result, I earn all the time too.

Make sense?

Hopefully not.

Because it makes dollars.

Lots & lots of dollars.

And that’s why you have read so far in Your Home Business Success Strategies Series.

Because you want to make lots and lots of dollars.

So, in Parts 1-4 of Your Home Business Success Strategies, we covered
the importance of a domain name, a lead capture page, and autoresponders.
Today, in Part 5, let’s talk about the first page your new lead sees, immediately
after opting in to your Landing Page, or Lead Capture Page – your Thank You
Page.
Now some people use what’s called a “Bridge Page”, to welcome a new
subscriber to their Marketing Funnel, before they move on to their Thank
You Page.  In short, a Bridge Page is a website that welcomes someone new to taking
a look at you, your company, your product, or your opportunity, but only
after they’ve opted in. It’s usually positioned between a Landing Page, and a Sales Page, and can
have a video of yourself on it, some written copy, photos, audio, even testimonials
– pretty much anything to warm up your visitors and prepare them for what’s
on the next page.
Now, most Network Marketing Companies & Direct Sales Companies don’t
allow for you to customize your own Sales & Marketing Funnels, simply
because they don’t understand true Internet Marketing.  This is also one of the reasons that a large
percentage of MLM Distributors
& Reps make little to no money in their businesses.  Of course, this not the
only reason, but it’s certainly up there as one of the biggest ones.

A big part of it is that nobody is teaching them this stuff, and so they still
use very old, worn out advertising & marketing strategies that don’t work
today like they did 3 or 4 decades ago.

So, getting back on track now, take note of this distinction:

When you market on Social Media, your friends, fans, and followers
all know, like, and probably trusts you more than they would trust a
complete stranger, so that when they click on your links, they are satisfying
their curiosity about what you are doing.

If they like what they see, they will probably contact you and become
a prospect.

In a cold market, someone who finds your site by clicking on a link they
found online or in their email, is not your friend yet.

So, the Bridge Page makes a HUGE difference when they go to the next
page in your funnel, called, your “Thank You Page”.

Now, the Thank You Page, is a Sales Page. There is no other way to say it.

The page could have a combination of audio, video, and text, and lots of
images, for what’s called Social Proof.

It should also have these things: a Headline, possibly even a Pre-Headline,
a Sub-Headline, a message body, and of course, a Call to Action to get a
visitor to become a customer.

The bottom line, is that the Thank You Page is designed to do one thing;
make sales.

Whether it tells a story, lists out features & benefits, makes comparisons
to other products, services, or companies…

… if the Thank You Page is not good, it won’t matter how good your
Domain is, how much traffic you send to your Landing Page, how many
leads you get into your Autoresponders, or how good your Follow Ups
are.

So, be sure when choosing the right home based business, that you align
with a Company, Product, and Opportunity that understands what a great
Thank You Page is, and that it converts Leads, into Customers (or Sales).

Because at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

That your business is making sales, making you money, and building a
long term, sustainable income for you and your family.

I’m probably not placing enough importance on this email – so all I will say,
is this:

I do not do ANYTHING, unless it’s 100% legitimate, professional, and high
integrity.

And, of course, sexy, fun, and highly profitable 😉

That’s why I’m working  this – that’s right – I have started my own Company
and partnered with some 6, 7 & 8 digit earners

Of course, I make no guarantees, except that if you do nothing – nothing will
change.

Think about that for a second.

[Part 4 of 7]  Your Home Business Success Strategies

If you are a student of success like I am, and already have a home based
business – or you would like to have one – then perhaps you’ve already
heard kind of an old, often used, but very true cliche that says…

… “The fortune is in the follow up”. 

Now “Follow Up” could mean several things but follow me here;

After speaking with a prospect about buying your product or service,
or joining you in business, it’s a good idea to set up another appointment.

But not an appointment where you call to follow up.

An appointment where your prospect follows up with you. 

Here’s my short take on that (My long take we are going to speak about
this week on a LIVE Webcast my friends & I are hosting. You
should come on and meet my friends. They are also my business partners
and we are building a brand new company together.

I’ll send more about this soon…

In the meantime, just know this. 

If you’re going to speak to anyone about any aspect of any business,
just make sure that they are looking for you, just as much as you are
looking for them.

That’s worth a second read:

And after your first meeting, if you are going to do business with someone,
most often, the right ones always call you back.

So yes, follow up, have a second conversation – but make sure that it’s your
prospect who understands that it’s they who have the opportunity, and will
want to follow up if they feel it’s a good match.

If they are even getting the opportunity, that should already tell them that
the person showing it them, thinks enough about them, to make the presentation,
no matter how that presentation is delivered.

That is a HUGE key to success, and my friends & I have everything but
MASTERED this selling point.

Again, stuff we will be taking about on this weeks hangout.

Now while most text book sales manuals say to set the appointment to
call your prospect again to find out what they thought, to me, that requires
way more “selling” than marketing, which is also way more “work” than
is necessary.

I prefer my leads, prospects and customers come to me.

With my members, clients, and teammates, it’s very different.

But when you are doing business from home on the internet, it’s much
more sensible, and profitable, to have your leads, prospects, and customers,
come to you, in a way that they “want” to come to you.

And this is why, when the marketing is done right, the selling part
is a piece of cake – because very little is actually required. 

Think about that for a second.

Now, “Follow Up” can also mean that once someone opts in to your Lead
Capture Page to take a look at what you’re doing, that you have already
scheduled, automated email follow ups that begin going out to your Leads
& Prospects, right into their Inbox, daily.

So, for this example, Part 4 of our 7 Part Home Based Business Strategies
Series, the fortune is absolutely, 100% in the follow up, because having an
automated re-marketing, or follow up campaign set up is a critical thing for
big, and long term success.

That’s why you want an online platform called, an Autoresponder. 

It’s a fairly simple tool that we marketers use, but it’s importance in your
business is paramount.  You simply cannot operate without one.

Now, in a nutshell, her’s what an Autoresponder allows you to do: 

#1 – It allows you to store the name, email, and many other pieces of data
about your leads, prospects, customers, members, clients, or anyone who
market or sell to.

#2 – It allows you to send a follow up series of email messages, called
campaigns, to anyone who subscribes to your list. (They can also unsubscribe
at any time by clicking on a link in your follow ups).

#3 – It allows you to create one off broadcast messages, to make an announcement,
start a promotion, promote a LIVE Event, make a special offer, or whatever you like.

So, you see, Autoresponders are a super important part of your home based
business success strategies.

Without them, you would miss some tremendous opportunities to build your
business and it would never last long term.

I think now that we are this deep into our conversation, you will realize how
important it is to learn from others, who have already built some very successful
business using these same bits of knowledge.

So you want to have an online business,
make money from home, and live a fun,
highly profitable “Laptop Lifestyle”?

 You know – where you can come and go
as you please, set your own schedule, and
work from pretty much anywhere in the
World – as long as you have an internet
connection?

 
Sounds great, right? Well, it is!

World is opening up their eyes, clicking
on your links, and buying whatever you
sell online. Now THAT, is magical!

And then thirdly, a few different tools,
systems & processes that we use to sift
& sort the suspects from real prospects,
do a very powerful sales presentation for
them, make the sale, and process their
order.

That’s right – the Laptop Lifestyle can
even become, hands off – for when you
want to travel, take vacations, or, just
take some time off to spend with family
and friends.

And there are even more resources to help
you succeed – like a strong community of
others helping each other (a Facebook Group
for example), ongoing support, mentorship,
& LIVE training each week.

In other words, with a great opportunity
and offer, everything you need to become
successful should already be in place.

And YES – it can truly be that simple, when
you learn from those who know exactly how
to do it.

Most people think Adversity is a bad thing. Most people are wrong!

I recently listened to a conference call, featuring Ron Gelok. adversity

Ron spoke about adversity and he had some great points, that I’d like to share.

As Entrepreneurs and even just human beings, we are clay. Adversity molds us into something of value.

If you aren’t willing to be molded, you will NEVER reach that place of value. When we find something uncomfortable, many people just skip over this or avoid it. That’s a shame..Pain when working out, is a good thing!  You only grow by fighting through the adversity.

Every time we do the uncomfortable activity, it gets easier and easier and we are growing. Another example from Ron, when metal is formed into a sword, the sword is placed in fire first, very hot, then the metal is pounded as its molded into a sword. Then he places the sword back into the fire. While the sword is in the fire, the impurities come to the surface, the blacksmith scoops these impurities out. Then he pulls the sword back out of the fire and pounds and molds it more. Then, after much work and molding, the sword is perfected!

It’s during the most adverse times that we grow the most. We gain the most strength!

If you’re not willing to go through adversity, then we are not willing to receive the gift of strength.  Be present in this process and be grateful. Have gratitude. When Jesus and the apostles started  sharing the word of the lord, they faced much adversity, and they were grateful for this.

When you’re on the brink of breakthrough is when the adversity is the greatest. You must push through this! I’ve experienced this working on my blog, dealing with tech issues. But I realized, I must push through the tech challenges online. Push through the fire. And I will be much better off, in multiple ways, by doing this. When I implement as I go, I am being stretched and molded, a la molding clay.

I’m excited to be serving my community in an abundantly excellent way!  I am making a significant impact on  many communities. Entrepreneurs, family and friends, and more importantly, the world!

So you’ve built a website and worked hard to market yourself or your product and you’ve received Internet leads…. Now what???   Many people are uncomfortable speaking on the phone, and this is often due to lack of communication skills.

Here’s some communication skills to help you through this.

  • Before you call a lead, research the area code. Maybe you’re familiar with this area. “are you from XXXX?” or “where are you originally from?” Or work with Family Occupation Recreation and Motivation to find out how to help the lead.  Building a rapport goes a long way to securing a relationship with the lead. But don’t overdue the building a rapport thing, you can over do it. This gets annoying to the lead
  • “How may I help you? “why did you opt in to my website” “what are you having trouble with?” are all good examples of what to ask an Internet lead.

Bottom Line, not only should you be thinking about how best to serve your leads and team mates, but this should be your waking thought every day, “Whom shall I serve today?”

If you’re like MOST people, you set goals and have a hard time staying on task and completing goals. In my studies of people like Eric Worre and Ray Higdon(among many others), I’ve learned a few simple Time Management Skills for accomplishing your daily tasks, to set you on your way to success If you don’t have the proper approach to reaching your destination, you will end up down the wrong road(See Below and watch all the way, you won’t be disappointed!)

Good Time Management Skills starts with breaking down your goals, to smaller tasks or activities.  I recommend coming up with 4 or 5 essential, non-negotiable, activities. Act like your boss will fire you, if you don’t complete these activities.

  1. Be Very Specific. You must be very specific in creating your daily activities.
  2. Determine how much time is necessary to complete these tasks. Then break them down into 15-30 minute chunks
  3. Plug these tasks into your schedule. If you don’t use a schedule, SHAME ON YOU! You are supposed to be a professional and you’re not using a schedule of some type yet? No wonder you don’t have Time Management Skills
  4. The night before, examine and plan the following day. This is NOT just looking at your calendar. If you’re calling 5 people, write the actual 5 people down that you’re calling. Specifically PLAN your entire day. YES, you can do this. If you work from 9 to 5 and have kids to take to activities, and you’re not going to be home till 8 PM… You still have time to work a home business. TIME IS NO EXCUSE.  What are you doing on your drive to work? How about on the way home? You have time for 5 short phone calls. You have time at night to show your business opportunity over the phone.
  5. Start your day and your day with mind set activities. Mind set is one of the most important parts of being successful. My morning schedule consists of 10 minutes of meditation/visualization, reviewing my affirmations, and at least 20 minutes of personal development/Mind setting. When I’m able to work from home, I also exercise for 20-30 minutes

Do you Have a Development Plan for 2016?

IF you don’t have a road map or development plan to create a major breakout in 2016? It’s time to create one.

The First question to ask yourself.  What’s your biggest Triumph that you’d like to accomplish in 2016? For me, it’s a 6 digit year from my part time, home business. This will allow me to have DUAL 6-digit incomes. When the economy crashed, it wiped out all of my savings and investments. Thus, I’m still rebuilding and 2 incomes will help GREATLY!

The Second question to ask yourself. Are you Committed to doing this? I’m committed to making this happen and I’ve created a very specific day/week/month plan and review to make this happen! Third question to ask yourself. What Personal Development are you committed to doing, to make this happen? I’m committed to continue learning skills that I need to take my business to the top! I’m going to register for another Landmark program The 4th and final question.  Where do you rank in your Tri Lateral Leadership ranking? This is a leadership score developed by Orrin Woodward and discussed in “Launching a Leadership Revolution”. This is my personal favorite leadership book. I’m currently re-reading it for my 4th time.Development Plan

  • Character. How’s your Integrity? Humility? Dependability?
  • Tasks. How effective are you? Do you accomplish tasks on time?
  • Relationships. How do you relate to others?

You should rank yourself 1-10 in all of those categories. Then multiply all 3 numbers and a perfect score would 1000. This is where Orrin Woodward lives. To recap, I’ve now provided you 4 very important questions to assist you in creating a development plan to create a BREAKOUT 2016!

What is Integrity? I had wondered growing up.

I’ve since learned, without Integrity, you have nothing and nothing works. It may temporarily, but not for long.

My parents often talked to me about doing what was right and doing things in the proper manner. They didn’t refer to this as integrity, this was just “how things were”. I had never had to ask, What is Integrity?

You did things that were expected of you, whether it was conveyed or not. And you did things the right way. If I was on time, I was late. Be kind to everyone. Be thoughtful. You are a person of your word and this is how you will behave.  This was life. And they were awesome models. Many times later in life, it has shown up for me, in different situations. And I was able to be present to this and reflect back to what my parents taught me. About a year ago, I met with a long time family friend, Katie Hansen. (Check out her blog at http://clingtotherock.blogspot.com/,,, Incorrect address in the video) Katie has an amazing story, make sure you check her out. In preparation for our meeting, Katie painted a rock for me (It’s her thing). She thought of Integrity, when she thought of me. Wow!! This blew me away. I had tears in my eye. I had an “Aha” moment. Recently, I had graduated from the “Self Expression and Leadership Program” at Landmark. What is Integrity? Integrity is the baseline for everything in life and especially in Landmark. What is Integrity

What is Integrity? Integrity is;

  1.  Doing what you said you would do, and doing it on time.
  2. Doing what you know to do and doing it as it was meant to be done, and doing it on time.
  3. Doing what others expect you to do, even if you haven’t said that you would do it, and doing it on time.

Unless you live in a cave by yourself, you will fall out of integrity from time to time

If you fall out of integrity, it doesn’t make you a bad person. Just out of integrity, a temporary state of being. You can regain your integrity in the following manner; acknowledge you are out of integrity and acknowledge the impact that this has. Then you must put into place a plan to not fall out of integrity in the future. For example; You are late for work. You show up and acknowledge you are late.  You acknowledge the impact that this has on the others at work. Then you put into a framework to not let this happen again(” I will be 10 minutes early, every day, to make sure, that I’m on time”)

What is Integrity?

This is a deep subject related leadership. Without Integrity, Leadership is impossible.
