So, we are up to Part 7 of 7 of Your Home Business Success Strategies…

… Your Order Page.

This is the component in your Funnel where Payment Information is collected,
when someone decides to purchase your products or services.

Now some would consider their Order Page, The Final Step, although I beg
to differ.

If you’ve been following along with this series, then you know that we have
covered Domain Names, Landing Pages, Autoresponders, Blogs, Thank You
Pages, and now, your Order Page, which is the last piece to the Online Sales
Funnel  – but is it really? 

You see, while most people think that making a sale is the be all / end all –
to me and my Team, and all of my Members and Clients – just as when it
comes to success – the Top is just the start of a higher climb – making a sale,
or closing someone (whether it’s online or off) – getting someone to buy your
product or service should really just be the beginning of a fresh new relationship
that flourishes each and every day that he or she owns your product. 

So never get so excited to make a sale, that you forget to deliver after the

And I don’t mean, “don’t deliver the product” – I mean…

… “don’t forget to deliver your “service”.

Because people will forget what they bought a lot of times, but they will never
forget how they felt about the transaction.

So follow up, follow through, and excellent customer service is a must.

I can’t tell  you how many great product companies do not have great customer
service. I don’t do business with them after I find out how poor their service
is, even if I like their product.

This is a big problem I see in the Industry. Lots of broken promises, and not
enough delivery.  We can talk more about this in future messages.

So, back to your Order Page…

When it comes to setting up your Product Order Page, you might want to use
Companies like 1ShoppingCart or EZCheckOut or you can have a custom order
page built for you by a private or independent programmer, to fit your needs.

You might even ask a private programmer to help you set up your Order Pages,
because they are somewhat of a chore to do on your own.

The good thing is this… 

If you want to work smart, and you have been following along with Parts 1-6 of
this Home Business Success Strategies Series…

… by now you probably realize that you can simply leverage someone else’s work,
and use their Order Page that comes with their System.

That’s what thousands of us do, and boy, does it cut down on time and energy.

There’s nothing better than selling stuff online, and letting a Company do all the
heavy lifting for you.

That’s actually Phase 1 of The 3 Phases of Marketing Success – again, another
for another day!  (Boy, do we have lots to talk about 🙂

Now check this out…

Imagine that right after your customer places an online order, while they are very
excited about their new purchase and receiving the benefits of what you now must

… they were offered another product, related to the first one they purchased from

And imagine, if out of every 10 sales you made, imagine even if 2 or 4 or 4 of those
customers purchased the second product you offered.

Imagine how much more profitable getting that one person in your Marketing Funnel
would be – making 2 sales, for the cost of acquiring just that one customer.

This is another part of your Order Page – which has now become more like an Ordering

You see, a good Marketing System will offer your new customer another product or
service, directly related to the initial product they’ve just purchased, making it simple
for them to add another product to their buying experience, with another click of their

Of course, this product should complement what they’ve just purchased, and help them
get even more benefit by doing more business with you.

Some of the best Order Pages I’ve seen, might include things like a Slightly Higher
Upsell, a One Time Offer, a High Ticket Offer, and a Continuity Offer, or Membership.

For the Marketer (meaning you), this presents multiple ways to earn income by selling
products that are different, but all related to each other, to one customer, and maximize
your profits, versus only selling one product and ending the transaction.

And this is the anatomy of a highly profitable marketing funnel. 

To see how one works, from start to finish, find a Leader that you know, like, and trust,
and either ask them for a link to their funnel, or find their funnel online.

As I’ve always said, “The best buyers, have potential to become the best sellers”.

Me personally, I buy a LOT of stuff from really great funnels.


Because I know that the more I buy, study, and implement, the more successful I will

Part 6 of Your Home Business Success Strategies…

To Blog, or not to Blog – that is the question.

Blog ?

Oh yeah – a Blog!

That’s a “Web Log” to Urban Dictionary.

To you and me…

… it’s an Online Home, where you and your brand and your message all
come to life.

Away from Social Media.

Away from all the nonsense that is not you.

Away from all the attraction, distraction, approval, and instant gratification.

Selfies, pictures of cats, and of course…

Everyone else’s stuff.

That being said… 

Blogging is a great way to brand yourself in the market, drive traffic (to a lead
capture page), generate leads, and make sales.

Companies use blogs.

Individuals use blogs.

And if you are an individual in a Company – looking to make money from home
– that’s even better.

Because you can use it to create an online audience, enrich your relationship with
that audience, and simply show people who you are, what you do, and most importantly…

… why you do it.

That’s right.

Always start with “Why” (Great book by the way – Start with Why by Simon Sinek).

What I love about a blog, is that while people get to know, like, and trust you because
of what you blog about, they can also buy the thing(s) you market when they are ready,
so be sure to link your blog to your marketing funnel, whether your Landing Page, Thank
You Page, or even your Order Page – there are many ways to use a blog which we will
cover in greater detail in future messages.

And, there are many different types of blogs – each with a different purpose. Again, more
conversation for another day.

So what do you post on a Blog?

Well, similar to posting on Social Media, you can post pictures, articles, videos,
(all yours, or other pepole’s – or a combination of both), advertisements, banners,
and even links to outside pages, including other people’s blogs, or websites that
you find interesting, or perhaps you are an affiliate for.

Remember, it’s your online home.

Of course, always link your blog to your own Social Media Pages as well, like
Facebook, You Tube, Linked In, Pinterest, Google Plus, Instagram, Snap Chat,
and any other pages, profiles, or places that you own (think… Monopoly! 😉

So, in Parts 1-4 of Your Home Business Success Strategies, we covered
the importance of a domain name, a lead capture page, and autoresponders.
Today, in Part 5, let’s talk about the first page your new lead sees, immediately
after opting in to your Landing Page, or Lead Capture Page – your Thank You
Now some people use what’s called a “Bridge Page”, to welcome a new
subscriber to their Marketing Funnel, before they move on to their Thank
You Page.  In short, a Bridge Page is a website that welcomes someone new to taking
a look at you, your company, your product, or your opportunity, but only
after they’ve opted in. It’s usually positioned between a Landing Page, and a Sales Page, and can
have a video of yourself on it, some written copy, photos, audio, even testimonials
– pretty much anything to warm up your visitors and prepare them for what’s
on the next page.
Now, most Network Marketing Companies & Direct Sales Companies don’t
allow for you to customize your own Sales & Marketing Funnels, simply
because they don’t understand true Internet Marketing.  This is also one of the reasons that a large
percentage of MLM Distributors
& Reps make little to no money in their businesses.  Of course, this not the
only reason, but it’s certainly up there as one of the biggest ones.

A big part of it is that nobody is teaching them this stuff, and so they still
use very old, worn out advertising & marketing strategies that don’t work
today like they did 3 or 4 decades ago.

So, getting back on track now, take note of this distinction:

When you market on Social Media, your friends, fans, and followers
all know, like, and probably trusts you more than they would trust a
complete stranger, so that when they click on your links, they are satisfying
their curiosity about what you are doing.

If they like what they see, they will probably contact you and become
a prospect.

In a cold market, someone who finds your site by clicking on a link they
found online or in their email, is not your friend yet.

So, the Bridge Page makes a HUGE difference when they go to the next
page in your funnel, called, your “Thank You Page”.

Now, the Thank You Page, is a Sales Page. There is no other way to say it.

The page could have a combination of audio, video, and text, and lots of
images, for what’s called Social Proof.

It should also have these things: a Headline, possibly even a Pre-Headline,
a Sub-Headline, a message body, and of course, a Call to Action to get a
visitor to become a customer.

The bottom line, is that the Thank You Page is designed to do one thing;
make sales.

Whether it tells a story, lists out features & benefits, makes comparisons
to other products, services, or companies…

… if the Thank You Page is not good, it won’t matter how good your
Domain is, how much traffic you send to your Landing Page, how many
leads you get into your Autoresponders, or how good your Follow Ups

So, be sure when choosing the right home based business, that you align
with a Company, Product, and Opportunity that understands what a great
Thank You Page is, and that it converts Leads, into Customers (or Sales).

Because at the end of the day, that’s all that matters.

That your business is making sales, making you money, and building a
long term, sustainable income for you and your family.

I’m probably not placing enough importance on this email – so all I will say,
is this:

I do not do ANYTHING, unless it’s 100% legitimate, professional, and high

And, of course, sexy, fun, and highly profitable 😉

[Part 4 of 7]  Your Home Business Success Strategies

If you are a student of success like I am, and already have a home based
business – or you would like to have one – then perhaps you’ve already
heard kind of an old, often used, but very true cliche that says…

… “The fortune is in the follow up”. 

Now “Follow Up” could mean several things but follow me here;

After speaking with a prospect about buying your product or service,
or joining you in business, it’s a good idea to set up another appointment.

But not an appointment where you call to follow up.

An appointment where your prospect follows up with you. 

Here’s my short take on that (My long take we are going to speak about
this week on a LIVE Webcast my friends & I are hosting. You
should come on and meet my friends. They are also my business partners
and we are building a brand new company together.

I’ll send more about this soon…

In the meantime, just know this. 

If you’re going to speak to anyone about any aspect of any business,
just make sure that they are looking for you, just as much as you are
looking for them.

That’s worth a second read: 

If you’re going to speak to anyone about any aspect of any business,

And after your first meeting, if you are going to do business with someone,
most often, the right ones always call you back.

So yes, follow up, have a second conversation – but make sure that it’s your
prospect who understands that it’s they who have the opportunity, and will
want to follow up if they feel it’s a good match.

If they are even getting the opportunity, that should already tell them that
the person showing it them, thinks enough about them, to make the presentation,
no matter how that presentation is delivered.

That is a HUGE key to success, and my friends & I have everything but
MASTERED this selling point.

Again, stuff we will be taking about on this weeks hangout.

Now while most text book sales manuals say to set the appointment to
call your prospect again to find out what they thought, to me, that requires
way more “selling” than marketing, which is also way more “work” than
is necessary.

I prefer my leads, prospects and customers come to me.

With my members, clients, and teammates, it’s very different.

But when you are doing business from home on the internet, it’s much
more sensible, and profitable, to have your leads, prospects, and customers,
come to you, in a way that they “want” to come to you.

And this is why, when the marketing is done right, the selling part
is a piece of cake – because very little is actually required. 

Think about that for a second.

Now, “Follow Up” can also mean that once someone opts in to your Lead
Capture Page to take a look at what you’re doing, that you have already
scheduled, automated email follow ups that begin going out to your Leads
& Prospects, right into their Inbox, daily.

So, for this example, Part 4 of our 7 Part Home Based Business Strategies
Series, the fortune is absolutely, 100% in the follow up, because having an
automated re-marketing, or follow up campaign set up is a critical thing for
big, and long term success.

That’s why you want an online platform called, an Autoresponder. 

It’s a fairly simple tool that we marketers use, but it’s importance in your
business is paramount.  You simply cannot operate without one.

Now, in a nutshell, her’s what an Autoresponder allows you to do: 

#1 – It allows you to store the name, email, and many other pieces of data
about your leads, prospects, customers, members, clients, or anyone who
market or sell to.

#2 – It allows you to send a follow up series of email messages, called
campaigns, to anyone who subscribes to your list. (They can also unsubscribe
at any time by clicking on a link in your follow ups).

#3 – It allows you to create one off broadcast messages, to make an announcement,
start a promotion, promote a LIVE Event, make a special offer, or whatever you like.

So, you see, Autoresponders are a super important part of your home based
business success strategies.

Without them, you would miss some tremendous opportunities to build your
business and it would never last long term.

important it is to learn from others, who have already built some very successful
business using these same bits of knowledge.

Ok, so now that you know what a domain name is, (explained in Part 2
of this Series)…… the next step to having a profitable marketing funnel, is to make sure
that your domain name, is forwarded to your Lead Capture Page, Landing
Page, or Squeeze Page.
This page has several different names, but no matter what you call it,
it’s function is to capture the email addresses of people who come to
your page, looking at either your product, your business opportunity,
or both.If you plan on making money online, you want to build a list of subscribers
who have “opted in” to view your offer, and having a Lead Capture Page
is critical in order to build one.If you do not use a Lead Capture Page, you will minimize your success
and your profit potential tremendously,
 because you will never be able
to have your automated follow ups & one time broadcast messages re-market
to your subscribers (also called “leads”), and enrich the relationship that
you are building with them, before they buy.Now, a great Lead Capture Page should have several parts to it – making
it a scientifically predictable way to share your sales message with your
target market.Your Page should start with a Pre-Headline, followed by a Headline, followed
by a Sub-Headline.

Then, you should have at least a video or some sales copy, or both, that
describes and explains your offer and gives a few compelling reasons for
your website visitor to give you their email address, in return for the Information
that you are offering to them.

Some home based business marketers call this, “the bribe”.

You give me your email address and I’ll give you what you want.

Of course, knowing exactly what your target market wants, is half the
batte in becoming successful.

In future messages, I will share with you exactly how to know what
people want – and just simply offer it to them.

When you do this correctly – you will make sales hand over fist.

Remember, when the marketing is done right, the selling part is a
piece of cake, because very little is actually required.

More about this too, in future messages.

But back to your Landing Page…

Photos are not necessary, however, you would have to test to see which
version of your Landing Page (with or without photos), converts more
of its visitors into Leads.

You will then use the one that performs the best, and then try to beat out
the conversion numbers with even another version.

This is called “Testing & Tweaking”, unit you can get the best possible “Click
to Lead” conversion. 

An “ok” Lead Capture Page should convert at least 10% of it’s visitors into leads.

A good Lead Capture Page will convert 25% of it’s visitors into leads.

A very good Lead Capture Page will converts 50% of it’s visitors into leads.

An excellent Lead Capture Page will convert 65-85% of it’s visitors into leads.

And I think that’s about the best I’ve ever seen – about 85%.

Just keep in mind that conversion is based on many, many variables, including
the market that you are sharing your page with. 

For example, in a cold market, these people don’t know you – yet – so the opt-in
rate takes a lot more experience to get into the higher percentages.

With a Social Media or Warm Market promotion, your target market already knows,
likes, and trusts you (hopefully 😉 and will opt-in more often because of the already
existing relationship you have.

Overall, a successful Home Based Internet Business cannot survive without
a Lead Capture Page.

And although you always want to capture Leads, there are other strategies that
I share with my Members,
 where you can actually have your target market bypass
your Lead Capture Page, and go right to your Thank You Page, but still be re-marketed

But that’s a whole different conversation for another day.

Right now, unless you are a seasoned veteran making a bunch of money online,
your best bet is to stick to what I’ve shared here before you get into the higher
level strategies that I will share in future messages.

So in my last post, we started our new Series, called,
Your Home Business Success Strategies. 
And today, we are going to dive right into the content,
because you deserve to know the details about what it
takes to run a successful home based internet business.
Since the dawn of the Web, it has become a universal
truth agreed upon by every successful internet marketing
expert around the World, that having a great domain
name is critical to your success.
A domain name is a small group of words that you’ll
purchase from a domain registration company, and then
redirect toward the URL  (Universal Re-Direct Link)
of your Website, Landing Page, Lead Capture Page,
Blog, or any site of your choice.  It can even re-direct
to your Social Media Profiles if you like.
Now, because a URL is the exact online address where
a website is hosted and can contain a combination of
words, letters, numbers and even random, seemingly
meaningless characters like question marks, back-slashes
and dots, it’s a great idea to have a short, targeted domain
name that describes your company, business, marketing
system, product, or service.An example of a long string
URL would be something
like this: http://9nl.org/xjcxTo most people, this would mean nothing but a lot of

So, instead of using that long URL (above), I would use
something like:


I would simple go into my domain register (GoDaddy),
and  forward this domain, to that long URL, so that my
audience would know exactly what the site was about,
before even clicking on my link.

The key is to be creative, therefore, the domain name
you purchase should be short and simple and something
that intrigues a person to click on it when displayed in
an email, online advertisement, or from any website
where your domain is posted, like at Facebook, YouTube,
Twitter, Instagram, etc…

Buying a Domain 

As a rule of thumb, always buy your own name, and
various versions of it.

If your name is John Smith, you might want to buy
JohnSmith dot com, JohnSmith dot net or JohnSmith dot
info, based on what’s available and what the purpose
of the website you are marketing, is. (see below)

If these are not available, you can use variations like
WhoIsJohnSmith dot com, MeetJohnSmith dot com
or PartnerWithJohnSmith dot com.

Even if you don’t use all your purchased domains right
away, you will certainly want your own name for any
personal branding you might create in the future.

Of course, you can use it for your Blog, or YouTube
Channel or Instagram, or whatever you choose, depending
on the market you are displaying your domain to.

As a rule of thumb, it’s a great idea to use your own
name in a domain when marketing to your friends, fans
or followers from a Social Media Market.

People who follow you and are your friends on Facebook,
Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Google
Plus, and/or any Social Media Platform, want to know YOU,
so by using your name or a version of it, this will create
curiosity, perhaps compelling them to click on the link at
your Profile Page and go through your marketing funnel.

When selecting a domain name for online advertising, it’s a
great idea to create what is known as “relevance”, by including
in your domain name, a couple or few words that appear on your
Landing Page (Lead Capture Page), so that when the visitor
lands on your page, they feel that they are getting exactly what
they expected.

And yet because online advertising is not a Social Media
Advertising Campaign, using your name is not the best option
considering that a cold market doesn’t know you, yet.

So, It’s better to go with more ‘Marketing Savvy’ words in
a domain name that are short, sweet and intriguing to your
audience, if the campaign allows you to display a domain
and isn’t just a banner or text link.

Again, curiosity is one of the biggest factors in compelling
people to click on your link.

Your text, or ad copy might even be overlooked, but your
domain name could attract a lot of clicks.

A great way to come up with some ideas, is to build your
Landing Page first, then purchase a domain name that matches
up with some of the more powerful words on the page.

Or, buy your domain name first and then make sure you use
the words in it on your Landing Page at least a few times,
closer to the top of the page in a Pre-Headline or Headline,
or Sub-Headline, where it will catch the attention of anyone
who clicked on your domain name out of curiosity.

This will also help you get a good “Quality Score” with Search
Engines, especially Google, if you are using Google AdWords
to drive traffic to your Landing Page.

If not, and you are relying solely on free & low cost advertising
& marketing, it’s still a good idea to keep your visitors engaged
by being completely congruent between what they expected,
(based on your post and domain name), and what they got when
they landed at your site.

In this regard, when it comes to buying domains for Social
Media engagement, whether it’s for status updates, or profiles,
keep in mind that if one of your Facebook friends, fans, or
followers clicks on your self named domain, but they get whisked
away to a landing page, website or blog that reflects nothing
about you and does not display your name, a picture of you,
a video or anything about you, chances are they might think
they are at the wrong page and feel less interested.

If you are marketing a page that you are not displayed on, then
just make sure that you explain what they are going to see when
they land at your page.

In addition, stay away from any abbreviations or spellings that
are different than its normal spelling as they will confuse people.

For example, for the word “easy”, don’t use “EZ”. (not that I
recommend that word as a part of your domain – just stay away
from abbreviations)

The best domains use short words and phrases that are easy to
spell and easy to remember.

A good domain name should create curiosity and intrigue
people and make them want to see the information at whatever
page they land on.

You can buy inexpensive domain names at Go Daddy dot com,
if you don’t already have a domain registrar that you like.

This is who I use for all my domain registration.

When visiting this website, the first thing you will want to do
is Search for a Domain name, to see if it’s even available.

If it is, you will see suffixes available for the domain you choose,
i.e..com,.net,.org,.us,.biz,.info, etc…

.Coms are usually associated with a website where a purchase might
be made, ie. the word “commerce”.

.Nets could be used for “commerce” like a dot com, but are usually
associated with a network that the website would represent.

.Info is usually associated with just that, information about someone
or something.

.Org is usually associated with information about an organization.

And the list goes on!

Pick whichever applies to you and your business, however,
remember that dot com domains usually get the highest click
through rates,
 not because you’ll have the best domain name
online, but because.com domains were the first to the marketplace
when the internet was still in its infancy and if people forget
that your domain is a.net or.biz or.info, they will always go
to the.com version of your domain.

Be aware that although it could only take a few minutes, it
could take up to a few hours for a newly registered domain
name to be active, so be sure not to start marketing it or sharing
it with others until you have thoroughly tested it to make sure
that it forwards to your desired website.

Forwarding your domain to your URL is similar to someone
calling your home telephone number, but being “forwarded”
to your cell or mobile phone.

Forwarding a domain name is the same concept – you choose
where your purchased “Domain”, forwards to, in this case, your
website URL.

You can even “mask” your domain name, which simply means
that when a visitor lands on your site, they will not see the URL,
but the domain name which you purchased, forwarded and now
displayed in the address bar of your website.

So this is how to select a high converting domain name for
your business and how to make sure that your Landing Page
and/or Website gets as much traffic as possible when advertising
and marketing online.

Just keep in mind that your domain name marks the beginning
of your Marketing System or Funnel, so make sure that it catches
people’s attention, compels them to want to look at your business,
and is a working link that will take them directly to your website.

If you’re anything like me, you MUST get organized, otherwise you’d get zero accomplished. Between my spending time with my 3 boys, a full time job, 3 businesses, improving my skills, and there’s always plenty to do with my house and year, I have PLENTY to do and little wavelength to remember it all. How to become an expert? This is what I asked myself about a year ago. I was having some success with my network marketing business especially with the mentors that I’ve been blessed to have, but I wanted to have greater and quicker success. I had been following Ray Higdon for awhile and he had become a friend of mine

From Ray I learned that to achieve what i wanted to achieve, I could follow the same path I was on, or I could leverage the internet to reach more people and grow my business more quickly. I had met with Ray on a couple of occasions and the message was very clear, I knew what I needed to do.

I bought a training product called the “3 Minute Expert”. This product taught me, step by step how to become an expert and be the authority in my niche. You can view my product review here.

In the “The 3 Minute Expert” I learned 3 steps I needed to take to become recognized as an expert and also how to master attraction marketing.

  1. Invest in yourself and Build your Foundation. Through the marketing platform, recommended to me by Ray Higdon, My Lead System Pro I was able to build my foundation in an area, that I had zero experience in, internet marketing.
  2. Create your own blog. Inside of MLSP I was able to follow a system and create my very own blog!
  3. Create Content. Create valuable content to help others. Give, Give, Give, Give, Give, sell. That’s how attraction marketing works.

By utilizing the step by step map that was provided to me from MLSP, I was able to grow my audience from 500 followers a year ago to over 50,000 followers as of today!! And still growing strong.  Now people see me as an authority in my niche thanks to simply following the map provided to me. I now have 3 additional revenue streams(total of 5!). One year ago, I only had 2.
